BEST SELLING CONTEMPORARY SOPRANO
Michelle Palmer is one of the UK's most exciting classical crossover sopranos having recently recorded her debut EP Serenity with world renowned executive producer Chris Craker - entering the classical album charts at number two. Her music is regularly played on international radio stations.
Her classical training began at De Montfort University in Leicester, UK, when she joined the chorus there, who were affiliated with the Schidlof Quartet, which led to her performing at a concert in Leicester with them. Alongside this Michelle was also noted for her vocal ability by music producer - Wayne Allen and consequently was developed as a recording artist having meetings with EMI recording studios in London
Over time, Michelle returned to her classical roots and has since performed for Lady Diana's Awards & Global Gift Foundation in the presence of her younger brother Earl Spencer in their family home at Althorp, being featured in The Daily Mail and on Hello Magazine's TV channel in Spain. Michelle has also performed live for the BBC, BT SKY Sports TV and in many theatres such as Royal Northern College of Music, The Olympia - London, Baths Hall, Concordia Theatre, Centenary Pavillion, Lincolnshire Showground, Premiership Rugby, working alongside established artists such as Peter Andre, and many others including popera sensation COLLABRO, former member of 'The Tenors' Remigio Pereira, Russian concert pianist, Sophia Lisovskaya and Masquearde String Quartet.
Michelle will be touring theatres very soon and is busy recording her new album featuring original songs written by herself and other acclaimed song writers which will be an exciting addition to the classical genre.
Recently Michelle wrote the lyrics to platinum selling Korean pianist, YIRUMA's signature piece - 'Kiss the Rain' and will be recording it with him later in 2017.
Michelle supports children's charities including Child of the Year Awards - she is passionate about inspiring the younger generation to achieve their potential and enhancing the lives of those neglected and abandoned having fostered children in the past, it is something very close to her heart.
